brake pad & shoe replacement

 

Customers usually identify a problem with their brakes when they hear squeeking. Brake pads cause a grinding noise, due to metal-to-metal friction when braking, when they are detoriating and this also causes damage to rotors or drums. It is important to have automotive professionals inspect brake system for signs of worn out parts within the brake system in order to avoid more costly repairs.

Transmission maintenance

 

We all know that our vehicle needs an oil change in order to keep the engine running efficiently. The same goes with our vehicle's transmission. In order to keep the transmission running efficiently and increase its lifespan a transmission maintenance service is required.

Belts & Hoses

 

Hoses should be checked at each oil change service for signs of wear due to age. Belts should also be constantly checked and replaced every 40,000 or 50,000 miles. Timing belts should be replaced between 60,000 and 90,000 miles. Depending on vehicle's condition it may be recommended during timing and serpentine service to replace tensioner, pulleys or water pump.

Check Engine Light

 

An illimunated "Check Engine Light" or "Service Engine Soon" light indicates that a vehicle system is not fucntioning properly. A steady light should be diagnosed at the first convenient opportunity. However, a blinking light may require immediate attention. Further testing and diagnostic is needed to pinpoint the problem. Once problem is found, repairs are made and the light is reset.

Steering and Suspension

 

The suspension system works together with the steering system to provide vehicle control. If steering and suspension system are not properly functioning common symptoms includes: car pulling to the side, uneven tire wear, loss of control, excessive noise, vibration or bouncing
